Rejuran (REJURAN) is a medical device developed by PharmaResearch Products that delivers PN, derived from salmon, into the dermis. Why the Rejumate is used instead of manual injection
There are two routes for delivering Rejuran, manual injection and device-assisted injection, and Skinique Clinic uses the dedicated Rejumate device in most cases. The reasons come down to three points: noticeably less discomfort than manual injection, more even depth and spacing of delivery, and less bruising, swelling, and raised bumps.
We are sometimes asked whether a device wastes a lot of product. With the Rejumate, the amount left behind in the cylinder is effectively negligible, so it is not something to worry about. If anything, the manufacturer built this dedicated device precisely to address the variation in depth between practitioners and the significant discomfort that come with manual injection. During the session, nine micro-needles are fitted so that PN is delivered densely and at a consistent depth from start to finish.
How the discomfort is managed
Discomfort during a Rejuran session comes less from the needle itself than from the moment the concentrated PN enters the skin. The more that goes in at once, the more it is felt, so reducing the volume per pass and dividing it over several passes eases the burden considerably. Rather than sticking to a fixed routine in order to keep to a set treatment time, Skinique Clinic checks skin thickness and sensitivity with the patient as the session goes on and adjusts toward whatever is more comfortable. How much discomfort is felt varies from person to person.
Confirming the product and finishing carefully
