Recommended For

The people this treatment is best suited for.

Stubborn red or blue ink residue that won't fade

Stubborn red or blue ink residue that won't fade For those left with old brow tattoos that have turned red or blue and resist ordinary lasers, wanting them cleared colour by colour with the varied wavelengths of two pico lasers.

Removal without damaging your own brow hair

Removal without damaging your own brow hair Because only the pigment is targeted and shattered, the treatment clears the tattoo alone — with no worry of the brow hairs being singed or permanently lost.

Quick return to daily life, no scarring

Quick return to daily life, no scarring Far less thermal damage than conventional lasers means markedly lower rates of swelling, blistering and scarring — results without disrupting everyday life.

FAQ

FAQ

The questions we hear most often before treatment.

It varies from person to person, but we apply thorough anaesthesia (topical cream or local injection) beforehand to keep discomfort to a minimum. Because the pico laser fires in extremely short pulses, surrounding tissue takes little heat damage, so it tends to hurt less than conventional removal lasers.

The pico laser selectively shatters only the pigment particles, so follicle damage is minimal. Hairs may temporarily turn white right after treatment, but the colour returns within a few days and the hair is not permanently lost.

It depends on the ink type, depth and colour as well as your skin, but 3 to 5 sessions at 4 to 6 week intervals is the average recommendation. At each visit the doctor checks your skin's recovery and how much pigment has cleared, one to one, before deciding the next session.

Yes. We run a dual system of PicoSure and PicoPlus, so beyond black and brown we can match wavelengths to the harder reds and blues and clear a wide range of pigment colours.

Keep the treated area dry on the day of treatment; washing and make-up elsewhere on the face are fine. For the brows themselves, we recommend waiting until the scabs have fully come away — usually about a week.

The shattered pigment needs time to drain through the lymphatic system and the skin needs to fully regenerate. Waiting at least 1 to 2 months after your final session, once the skin has normalised, gives the prettiest colour uptake.

Care

After-Care Notes

Please follow these for a safe recovery.

Gentle washing on the day, avoid friction
Gentle washing on the day, avoid frictionKeep water off the brows on the day of treatment. From the next day, wash gently with cleansing foam lather rather than rubbing the area.
Let scabs and blisters fall away on their own (never pick)
Let scabs and blisters fall away on their own (never pick)Thin scabs or small blisters may appear within 2 to 3 days. To prevent scarring and pigmentation, do not pick or pop them — let them come away naturally.
Apply the healing ointment diligently
Apply the healing ointment diligentlySpread the prescribed ointment or regenerating cream thinly over the area morning and evening so it never dries out.
No heat-raising activity for a week
No heat-raising activity for a weekTo prevent inflammation, avoid saunas, jjimjilbang, swimming pools, strenuous sweaty exercise, alcohol and smoking for about a week.
Strict sun protection
Strict sun protectionSun exposure while the area regenerates can cause pigmentation. Once the scabs are gone, apply sunscreen carefully over the brow area whenever you go out.
Managing early swelling (cold compress)
Managing early swelling (cold compress)Mild swelling or redness can accompany the first day or two. A light cold compress with the ice pack we provide, or ice wrapped in a clean towel, helps a great deal.
